Harrachov’s First Four-Star Hotel Opened Yesterday
The Cimex concern, the biggest Czech hotel-owning company, has invested almost 200 million crowns in the reconstruction. “We are convinced that the ongoing change in clients’ preferences from cheap accommodation towards higher standard will continue,” said Miroslav Příkop, director general of the Cimex Invest Company. That is why the Cimex Group has announced another project, costing 250 million crowns: a new hotel in the very center of Prague. The hotel will be established in Petrská Street after the reconstruction of several apartment buildings. The project designers were inspired by Vienna and Brussels. In these cities, hotels in the historical center, luxurious and intimate at the same time, are hugely popular among the guests. The Sklář in Harrachov is to be run by the Orea Hotels, a subsidiary company of the Cimex Company that runs thirty-five hotels all over the Czech Republic.
