Long-awaited 2nd annual competition for the best Czech dumplings, sirloin sauce and regional beer took place on 26th November in the Primátor Restaurant in the InterContinental Hotel, Prague 1. The patron of this competition was a well known innkeeper, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Karel Schwarzenberg. VITANA, the General Partner of the competition, guaranteed the high professional standards of the Best Sirloin Sauce 2008 competition and thus supported this unique culinary experience.

The Panel Chairman was Mr. Jaroslav Sapík, who is the owner of a charming restaurant ´U koně´ in Klokočná. The Panel members were Jiří Dienstbier, Maria Horníková, Yvona Legierská, Miroslav Kubec, Jiří Mikeš, Libor Ševčík, Radek John, a Ivana Kováříková.
