At the beginning of 2026, CIMEX Group<\/strong> successfully completed the acquisition of the four-star Andel\u2019s Prague Hotel<\/strong>, which has been renamed OREA Hotel Andel\u2019s Prague<\/strong>. The hotel was acquired from the Austrian Vienna Insurance Group (VIG)<\/strong>, with the transaction officially completed on 7 January 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The newly acquired hotel is located adjacent to OREA Hotel Angelo Prague<\/strong>, which is already part of the Group\u2019s portfolio. While both hotels will continue to operate independently, together they will strengthen the OREA<\/strong> brand by creating one of Prague\u2019s largest hotel and conference facilities in one of the city\u2019s fastest-growing districts.<\/p>\n

OREA Hotel Andel\u2019s Prague<\/strong> offers 290 guest rooms<\/strong> and 16 conference rooms<\/strong> with a combined capacity of up to 645 delegates<\/strong>. Together with OREA Hotel Angelo Prague<\/strong>, which features 163 rooms<\/strong>, five suites<\/strong>, and four conference rooms<\/strong>, the two properties create a hospitality complex of nearly 450 rooms<\/strong> with significantly expanded capacity for conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings.<\/p>\n

While both hotels will continue to operate independently, together they will benefit from increased accommodation and conference capacity, allowing us to offer a stronger proposition in this attractive location,”<\/em> says Miroslav Kosnar<\/strong>, CEO of CIMEX Group.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The acquisition further reinforces CIMEX’s long-term presence in the And\u011bl district. In addition to OREA Hotel Andel\u2019s Prague<\/strong> and OREA Hotel Angelo Prague<\/strong>, the Group also owns the historic Gabriel Loci<\/strong> complex, which currently serves as a cultural and event venue and is planned to be transformed into a luxury hotel in the future.<\/p>\n
