At the beginning of 2026, CIMEX Group successfully completed the acquisition of the four-star Andel’s Prague Hotel, which has been renamed OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague. The hotel was acquired from the Austrian Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), with the transaction officially completed on 7 January 2026.

The newly acquired hotel is located adjacent to OREA Hotel Angelo Prague, which is already part of the Group’s portfolio. While both hotels will continue to operate independently, together they will strengthen the OREA brand by creating one of Prague’s largest hotel and conference facilities in one of the city’s fastest-growing districts.

OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague offers 290 guest rooms and 16 conference rooms with a combined capacity of up to 645 delegates. Together with OREA Hotel Angelo Prague, which features 163 rooms, five suites, and four conference rooms, the two properties create a hospitality complex of nearly 450 rooms with significantly expanded capacity for conferences, corporate events, and social gatherings.

The acquisition further reinforces CIMEX’s long-term presence in the Anděl district. In addition to OREA Hotel Andel’s Prague and OREA Hotel Angelo Prague, the Group also owns the historic Gabriel Loci complex, which currently serves as a cultural and event venue and is planned to be transformed into a luxury hotel in the future.
